The seven members of the board of directors are all from different nationalities. They determine the policy of IMHA during two years.

This board of directors had its first meeting on 10 October 2023, after having been elected by the General Assemblee on 5 October 2023.
The role of the board of directors is to decide the policy of the association to achieve the objectives. To do this the board of directors has the broadest competences, except for those competences the law and the bylaws attribute to the General Assembly (Bylaws Art. 17).
They are supported in their role by the IMHA office.
